EUFACINET project round table

Forum Interactive Education and Training in the frame of EUFACINET project took place at the Third Festival of the Bulgarian Education on 10 May 2008. The attendees were responsible persons from the Ministry of education, trade unions of teachers, scientific institutions, e-media, academic lecturers from Sofia University, Technical University, training centers from the country side, and associations of ICT.

Mrs. Anna Lalkovska – the EUFACINET project manager - presented “The Facilitation Guide” and its three modules. Accent was put on the new profile of facilitator, and the innovative method of work-integrated self-learning.

There was a presentation (from the second Bulgarian partner – FSSK) of the planned sociological research on e-learning in Bulgaria – (formal/informal) – in summer and a brochure that will be done. The reaction was that many of the managers in SMEs would not be happy somebody to analyze their firms and find some wrong decisions they have made. The first efforts should be to "educate" the decision-makers to accept facilitators.

Regarding the questionnaire of sociological research the general opinion was to be made, an informative part for unification of notion understanding due to vague limits of some terms.

The proposal that was made by the academic participants was to be included some training of the facilitators.
