Overall objective(s): To achieve maximum social and economical cohesion between the border regions developing Internet Business Information System /IBIS/ which is collecting, upgrading and providing business information services and thus increasing the capacity of the participants and users of the network and thus improve competitiveness and promote growth of enterprises in the cross-border region and foster employment. Specific objective: 1. Increasing the capacity of the organizations, providing business information services; regional and local authorities and SMEs, implementing common activities with clear cross-border influence. 2. To examine the possibilities and to introduce an innovative approach in development of a perspective ICT instrument – Internet Business information network integrated with Data base and encourage networking between local organizations; 3. To improve the environment for establishment of partnerships in the Cross-border Region /CBR/. 4. To provide adequate possibilities for an economic activities of Disabled persons and to insure male/female equal rights. Location:
The results of the action:
an Internet Business Information System was developed, encouraging the use of the communication and information technologies (ICT) for further improvement of the economic development in the CBR; established new collaboration activities between SMEs, public institutions and business-supporting NGOs, located on both sides of the boarder; increased capacity and improved skills of local human resources and provision of possibilities for economic activity for disabled persons and friendly business environment insuring male/female equal rights. The platform revitalized the existing databases and delivered the standardized measures to the IT environment providing unlimited possibilities to combine the existing data for multiple purposes and solving unexpected business situations within the two countries. It built up the Open society based on knowledge and High - Tech. by integration between the 200 governmental registers and information systems. It decreased the “gray economy” practices, bringing more transparency and trust.
